Services

• The Hour of Power: The Hour of Power is a 9:00 a.m. pre-service prayer meeting open to all who want to press into God for the 10:30 a.m. service for God's presence and power to be present. 

• Pre Service Fellowship: A snack and refreshment table is set up at 10:00 a.m. for fellowship time in the fellowship hall.

• Worship Service: The 10:30 a.m. service is led by a full worship team including electric guitars, drums, keyboards, and other instruments. Communion is served on the last Sunday of each month. 

• There is a baby nursery and children's church at every Sunday service.

Vineyard Café
A full service café complete with homemade blue plate specials each Wednesday beginning at 5:30 PM. All proceeds go into our church mission fund and help finance the mission vision of Dothan Vineyard.

Small Group Ministry
Small groups are the avenue for authentic Christianity to develop.  Our Discipleship/Bible study Small Group Ministry meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. We start the evening with a time of worship and then we break up into our small groups.  We also have our Firehouse Teen service, Children's Church and Baby Nursery on at the same time.  There is something for everyone at our mid week small group night.  To see the Subjects being studied go to our RESOURCES PAGE and follow the small groups brochure link.

OUR SMALL GROUPS ARE DESIGNED SO YOU CAN ENTER THEM AT ANY TIME IN EACH SESSION.

We also have SPECIALTY SMALL GROUPS that meet on other nights throughout the month. Some of our SPECIALTY SMALL GROUPS ARE:

First Place (Christian Weight Loss), Seniors (ministering to seniors), Family Support Group (for families struggling with addictive behaviors), Prayer and Intercession, Bowling for Jesus (1st & 3rd Sundays @ 2 p.m. Patricia Lanes, Dothan), GALS of the Vineyard Service/Fellowship Group, & Yellow Bag Outreach. 

Email us concerning the small group you would like information about and we will send you the details & contact information.  CHILDCARE:  while childcare is provided for the small groups that meet at the church on Wednesday, this may not be the case for the Specialty Small groups that meet on another night and place.

Men's & Women's Ministries
Our men and women's ministries meet throughout the year for special events.
 

• Men: A time for men to gather and share around the real needs that guys face in today's world. A very casual and relevant meeting. A good way to connect with God and other men in the church.  Men currently meet once a month.
• Women: A time set aside for women to be together to address the unique needs of the modern day woman. A time of sharing with one another and connecting with God together. 

The Firehouse Student Ministries 

Habitat For Humanity Outreach

Our Church is a part of the Wiregrass Apostles Build, a Habitat for Humanity house build.  The Apostles build is comprised of 12 churches in the Dothan area who partner together to build a house for an approved family.  Each church has to provide work teams and a $4000 contribution per church.  We would love to have you be a part of this worthy outreach. 

Foreign Missions Outreaches

Our church is in partnership with churches and ministries in India and Africa.  One of our goals for the next 10 years is to see every member of our church who has a vision for Foreign Missions (and desire to travel) to be a part of a ministry team to either India or Africa.  We also plan a trip for our teenagers to make an annual trip to Mexico to introduce them to missions.

Community Food Outreach

Once a month our church family takes a yellow bag home and fills it with non perishable groceries.  We then extend an invitation for any church member to be a part of a prayer team to go out in our community and bless a family with a bag of groceries and pray for their needs.  At the Dothan Vineyard, we are an outward focused church.  We believe if we have freely received, we must also freely give.  Love must be demonstrated.  We exist to love people not only in word, but in deed.

Nursery and childcare is provided at every service*
